James heads the Professional Department and has over 30 years’ experience in the property business.
He specialises in advising on landlord and tenant matters, particularly in respect of retail, office, industrial and restaurant premises. He undertakes valuations and negotiates for landlord and tenant purposes on behalf of property owners and occupiers throughout the UK, including acting as an expert witness in rent review disputes before arbitrators and independent experts and giving advice in the Courts for new lease determinations.
James is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has a BSc(Hons) degree in Land Administration.
Outside of White Druce & Brown, James’ interests are his family and training/participating in triathlons.
With a previous background in commercial property Jonathan joined White Druce and Brown in 1992 to primarily assist with the significant LPA Receivership appointments, acting for Lloyds, Barclays, KPMG, Deutsche Bank and Norwich Union. This enabled him to gain insight into the various disciplines that the company offers such as day to day management, lease renewal/rent reviews, asset management, investment and agency.
He became a registered fixed charge receiver and a member of the IPA continuing to take such instructions and was made a director in 1996 and is a co-owner.
He strives to convey the skills learned in all areas to oversee the WDB team, maintain a close relationship with valued clients and an intimate knowledge of the properties we manage to ensure the company’s ethos of providing trustworthy, experienced and accessible advice while relishing new challenges on behalf of tenants and landlords alike.
Ian is a director and co-owner of WDB having been with the firm for over 30 years. He heads up the Lease Advisory department acting for a wide range of Companies and Corporation both Internationally and nationally, Family Offices and private individuals.
Ian provides unbiased objective advise across all aspects of office agency and commercial ownership delivering front end strategic expertise. Ian is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has a BSc(Hons) degree in Land Administration.
Away from the office Ian enjoys participating and training for Triathlons and Ultra Marathons, when not busy in the garden!
With 23 years of client accounting experience in commercial & residential property management, Colin has a proven track record as a dedicated property professional. Having worked in medium to small companies, including Public Limited Company (PLC) entities as a Management Accountant.
Being a fully trained member of the regulated Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, with Taxation qualifications, Colin has a full understanding of accountancy procedures, ethics and accountancy industry regulations.
With a full-time family life, Colin manages to find some time for the unusual hobby of campanology.
David has been a Chartered Surveyor for almost 20 years. He has a very broad range of experience over all sectors of property, both nationally and within Central London for FTSE companies, the public sector and SMEs.
Specialising in Commercial Property Management, David has managed all types of properties and negotiated disposals, purchases, complicated lease negotiations and tenant agreements on behalf of both landlords and tenants. Building refurbishments, service charge management and mixed use properties are all part of his regular duties, adding value for the client through active asset management, whilst building relations with tenants.
Away from the office David is a family man.
Duncan has worked in the Facilities Management sector for 25 + years, with roles in the public and commercial sectors, managing all types of properties from residential to large office buildings. Duncan has a very calm and considered approach to property management and excels at delivering first class services to the properties we manage.
Away from work, Duncan’s interests are travel, golf, football & his two dogs.
Robin is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors having qualified in 1981 and is an RICS Registered Valuer. Robin has headed up our Valuation practice since 2016 having previously held various positions with National and International practices and as a Practice Principal. Robin specialises in the valuation of commercial property. Outside interests include motor sport, winter sports and aviation.
Jane Locsin – BSc (Accounting)
Jane joined our Accounts team in 1994. Before that she worked at Druce and Company for seven years. She is a qualified Accountant who has years of experience in the fields of property management reporting, taxation and cash flow. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to prioritize workloads to meet challenging deadlines.
Outside work, she enjoys spending time cooking, baking and travelling with her daughters.
